A webinar about the Science journalism has been organized online by the the yemeni association مؤسسة الصحافة الإنسانية Humanitarian Journalism Foundation, february, 06th, 2021.
During one hour and half, I presented the history of science journalism in the world, especially in the Arab world. I have obviously presented some examples in the Arab and Anglo-Saxon media, whether in the digital media or in TV channels. I also introduced journalists to the skills needed to become a science journalist. It should also be noted that you don’t need to have a scientific degree to be one.
After presenting the sources of information for a science journalist, especially in the COVID period, I answered questions from the audience.
I always have the pleasure of sharing knowledge about the field of journalism with Arab journalists, by simplifying the information.
