Moderating a panel discussion at the 3rd edition of the Arab Forum of Science Media and Communication

I had the opportunity to organize a panel discussion during the 3rd edition of the Arab Forum of Science Media and Communication, which took place at Sharjah University. The panel focused on the role of media and the importance of health communication in raising awareness about health issues.

About me

Nouha Belaid is a Ph.D. in media and communication. She started her career in 2008 as a journalist and PR manager before joining academia in 2013 until 2023. Her interest in science journalism started with the emergence of COVID-19 by creating online content about the virus, reclaiming good health for all, and contesting climate change. She also founded the Science Journalists in MENA Forum. She is also the co-founder of the Arab Journalism Observatory and the citizen media “Madha Yahduth”. She also participated in COP27 in Egypt as an accredited journalist and many other international conferences as a Freelancer Journalist. As a Science Media and Communication Consultant, Nouha had provided media support to a diverse range of clients including CPHIA, the FIFA World Cup 2022, WHO EMRO, and AstraZeneca Middle East and Africa.
