Nous avons eu le plaisir ce dernier mois de faire partie du panel d’experts en journalisme scientifique afin de traiter la situation du journalisme scientifique en Afrique du Nord et proposer des solutions.
L’évolution du journalisme scientifique semble être difficile mais il s’agit d’une spécialité d’avenir qui a besoin d’intérêt. Nous devrons donc travailler de plus en plus, sur le développement des compétences des journalistes dans les différents domaines de la science notamment le domaine de la santé.
I had the pleasure of participating in the 2nd edition of the « Media and Science » Forum organized by the Goethe Institute in Cairo (Eypt) last september 2021.
Our intervention focused on the media coverage of the Coronavirus crisis during the first wave by Tunisian journalists.
Different actors of the media scene and the scientific one , had participated in this conference. It seems clear from this conference that science journalism will elvove during these five next years.

In light of the accelerating scientific and technological progress, and in amidst the challenges facing the world such as the outbreak of the Coronavirus (Covid-19), and the negatives and positives of the environmental and climatic phenomena accompanying this progress, the establishment of the « Arab Network for Scientific Journalism » was declared today through a virtual session via Zoom application. As a professional Arab, and regional, independent, non-governmental and non-profit organization, its goal is to promote Arab scientific media to bring about a comprehensive renaissance and development, and to create Arab awareness capable of participating in and keeping pace with scientific and technological progress. This network is of Arab origin, based in the Republic of Yemen, headed by Ahmed Radman Al-Shamiri, and its executive office consists of a group of Arab expertise in the field of media, including Dr. Nouha Belaid (Tunisia), Dr. Radhwa Abdel-Latif (Egypt), Dr. Hanan Kaswani (Jordan), Ms. Samia Ayash (Palestine) and Mr. Muhammed Sharif (Mauritania).
Dans le cadre des activités de la Fondation du Journalisme Humain au Yémen, nous avons démarré samedi 13 mars 2021 notre atelier de formation sur le journalisme scientifique. Dix journalistes de différentes nationalités arabes participent à cet atelier, à savoir: Qatar, Egypte, Iraq, Sudan, Liban, Algérie, Yémen, Jordanie, Algérie et Maroc et Arabie Saoudite.
