In September 2021, I had the opportunity to participate in the second edition of the « Media and Science » Forum, which was organized by the Goethe Institute in Cairo, Egypt.
During the conference, my speech focused on the coverage of the first wave of the Coronavirus crisis by Tunisian journalists. The event brought together various actors from the media and scientific fields, highlighting the important role of science journalism in the coming years.
I had the pleasure on Thursday July 29, 2021 to participate at the webinar organized by Daraj media as part of the « Ama Baad » program, whose topic was « Data journalism and infographics: new essential skills for journalists? « . Have participated in this debate with me, my colleague Amr Eraqi (Founder of Bayanet School).
This debate moderated by Ahmed Esmat (Consultant and journalist) focused on the new challenges of data journalism following the technological evolution experienced. We already agree on the idea that data journalism is not the journalist’s job but requires the presence of other skills.
